How to Choose: Measure, Match, Decide
Measure Yourself the Right Way
Get a soft tape measure. If you don't have one, a piece of string and a ruler work fine. Here's the quick process:
- Chest: Wrap the tape under your armpits, around the fullest part of your chest. Keep it snug but not tight.
- Waist: Go around your natural waistline, just above your belly button.
- Sleeve: Start from the center of the back of your neck, go across the shoulder, and down to your wrist.
- Length: From the top of your shoulder where it meets the seam, straight down to where you want the hem to hit.
The Wisdm Premium Hoodie Size Chart
The Wisdm Premium Hoodie is a heavyweight pullover built from 80% cotton and 20% polyester with a 320gsm fleece and brushed interior. The measurements below are in inches and reflect the garment laid flat.
| Size | Chest (width) | Body Length | Sleeve Length | Recommended FIT |
| S | 20-21 in | 26 in | 25 in | Fits chest 32-34 in |
| M | 21-22 in | 27 in | 26 in | Fits chest 35-37 in |
| L | 22-23 in | 28 in | 27 in | Fits chest 38-40 in |
| XL | 23-24 in | 29 in | 28 in | Fits chest 41-43 in |
| XXL | 24-25 in | 30 in | 29 in | Fits chest 44-46 in |
Note: The hoodie is designed with a slightly relaxed cut. It's not super baggy, but it's not slim either. The 320gsm fleece has a bit of weight, so it drapes nicely.
Compare with Your Favorite Hoodie
If you already own a hoodie that fits perfectly, measure it flat and compare it to the size chart above. Place it on a table, smooth out wrinkles, and measure pit-to-pit for the chest width, and from the top of the shoulder seam to the bottom hem for length. Your new Wisdm hoodie should match within an inch or two. This takes the guesswork out.
Also, consider how you plan to wear it. If it's mostly over a t-shirt, your standard size works. If you want to layer over a hoodie or thick flannel, size up. That extra room in the chest (the Wisdm cut is designed to allow it) makes all the difference.
And don't overlook the length. The Premium Hoodie has a 28-inch body length on a size Large, which hits mid-hip for most people. If you prefer a longer silhouette, sizing up adds about an inch to that length.
True to Size or Size Up?
Wisdm himself answered this in a July 15, 2026 YouTube video called 'Hoodie Sizing Q&A': 'The Premium Hoodie is cut with a bit of room in the chest, so if you're between sizes, go with your normal size for a clean look or size up if you like that boxy streetwear vibe.' That's the official word.
And the community agrees. The #WisdmFitCheck hashtag on TikTok is filled with side-by-side try-ons of different sizes. A lot of fans who want an oversized look order one size up. Others, especially those who plan to layer over a hoodie, stick to their true size.
This lines up with a poll Wisdm ran during the June 1 Comfort Drop launch: 68% of fans on Instagram and Discord said they prefer a slightly oversized fit. So if you're nodding along, sizing up is a safe bet.
Also, there's the 'shrinkage' factor. Because the Premium Hoodie is 80% cotton, a warm drying cycle can cause about 3-5% shrinkage. If you're between sizes and plan to machine dry, rounding up gives you a comfortable cushion. You can find washing instructions on the product page for the Wisdm Premium Hoodie.
Common Sizing Mistakes (and How to Avoid Them)
- Trusting your shirt size. Hoodies and tees from different brands vary wildly. Wisdm uses its own sizing across the line, so always check the chart instead of assuming a Medium is a Medium.
- Ignoring shrinkage. That 80% cotton blend can pull in after a hot wash. If you're prone to using the dryer, plan for it.
- Ordering for the 'perfect' fit without thinking about layering. A hoodie that's great on its own might be too tight over a hoodie (yes, that's a thing). Think about what you'll wear underneath.
- Not reading the product description. Some Wisdm items are intentionally oversized. The Premium Hoodie is relaxed, but it's not a 'drop-shoulder' style. The Polo is slimmer. Read the details.
Sizing for Tees and Other Wisdm Gear
The Wisdm Classic T-Shirt ($24.99) runs true to size with a regular fit. It follows the same chest measurements as the hoodie, but has a slightly shorter length. If you're between sizes, go with your exact chest measurement for a clean look.
The Wisdm Polo Shirt ($34.99) is a bit more tailored - if you're between sizes, that's one to size down for a crisp collar look. The Wisdm Tank Top ($19.99) has a slightly narrower shoulder, so if you have broader shoulders, size up.
For all of these, you can check the size charts on each product page or explore the full collection to compare.
